Representative Experience:  My professional experience emphasizes land use and environmental litigation on behalf of citizen groups, individuals, environmental organizations, and local government.  I have represented my clients in cases involving the Federal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, Western District of Washington federal court, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Washington State Shorelines Hearings Board, Pollution Control Hearings Board, Growth Management Hearings Boards, Energy Facilities Site Evaluation Council, Washington Superior Courts and a variety of county and local municipal jurisdictions across Washington State. 

Prior Experience:

Associate Attorney, Bricklin Newman Dold, LLP - October 2002 to May 2006 

Special Projects Fellow, EarthRights International - October 2001 to October 2002.  Work included developing an international human rights manual for environmental activists; developing an extensive human rights and environmental issues database; and aiding in preparation for international human rights litigation.

Intern, Washington Environmental Council - August 2000 to December 2000.  Projects included review of potential environmental litigation actions; Section 9 ESA case review; and analysis of Army Corps ESA consultation practices for issuing NPDES permits

Intern, Women's Rights Project of EarthRights International - June 1999 to December 2000.  Research topics included violations of national and international environmental law by Burma; human rights and environmental impacts of international dam projects; and international impacts of bio-accumulative toxins on women.
